</p><p>Unity acquired Applifier, a Helsinki-based mobile service provider, in March 2014. Applifier's game replay sharing and community service was initially called Everyplay, and became known as Unity Everyplay. </p><p>In October 2014, Helgason announced in a blog post that he would be stepping down as CEO with <a href="John_Riccitiello" title="John Riccitiello">John Riccitiello</a>, the former CEO of game company <a href="Electronic_Arts" title="Electronic Arts">Electronic Arts</a>, replacing him.
